Medical insurance and pre-authorisation

Dr Singh is recognised by all major insurance providers and will bill within the schedule of charges for specific insurance companies.

As you are ultimately responsible for all cost of your care, even if you are insured, it is important to check the cover your insurance will provide. We strongly recommend that you notify your insurance provider prior to proceeding with your initial and follow up outpatient consultations, diagnostic investigations as well as any proposed treatment.

Your insurance provider will give you an authorisation number. Please provide this to us prior to your consultation or bring it along to your appointment.

Unfortunately, as insurance policies vary widely, we are unable to advise on what is and is not covered.

Self-pay fees

Initial outpatient appointment (30min): £350

Extended outpatient appointment/ second opinion (upto 60min): £450

Follow up outpatient appointment: £250

Joint or soft-tissue injection (additional): £100

Embassy patients

Please obtain a Letter of Guarantee (LOG) to cover consultation, diagnostics and/or treatment and send it to Dr Singh’s PA. Without the LOG, patients will be required to pay in advance on the day and claim back via their Embassy.

Cancellation policy

A missed appointment or last minute cancellation is a lost opportunity to offer the consultation to another patient who needs to be seen.

We kindly request at least one working day’s notice if you need to cancel or change your appointment.

Non-attendance or cancellations made with less than one working day’s notice will unfortunately incur a fee, set at £150 and not eligible for reimbursement by an insurer.
